Committed to Quality
Renewing its ISO certification to the new standard, ISO 9001:2015, Pine Electronics has always focused on quality becoming an early adopter of ISO certification in January 2003. Each and every assembly is inspected and tested before leaving our facility. Our automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment uses x-rays as its source, instead of visible light to automatically inspect any "hidden from view" features. Pine's culture and best-in-class quality practices have earned the trust of some of the most rigorous quality auditors in the world.
Our IPC certified trainers in IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 assure the highest quality and service for our customers.
- IPC-A-610 (Industry standard for acceptability of electronic assemblies)
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Industry standard for cable and wire harness fabrication and installation)
The successful transition to the new standard 9001:2015 represents the culmination of many months of hard work and preparation. Pine's recent ISO audit revealed its effective risk and opportunity assessment process. It also evaluated the process by which internal and external issues relevant to Pine's purpose and strategic direction are determined.
Pine Electronics was recognized by one of its largest international customers as 2015 Best Quality Supplier.
A few words from Bureau Veritas Auditor:
“Some good work has been done to disperse the inspection of printed circuit boards throughout the various stages of build instead of waiting for one big final inspection. This hardware coupled with the company’s proprietary ERP software is quite innovative for a company this size. Cycle counts can be optimized to focus on high usage or problem parts as opposed to randomly selected parts.” - Jim T (ISO Auditor)
